New to Hollywood or visiting for the first time?  Want to go out and do the nightclub scene? Going out to the hottest club in Hollywood and out on the town in LA is not as easy as you’d expect.  Figuring out the best nightclubs and having a fun night isn’t as easy as in other cities.  If you don’t know what you’re doing you have higher odds of being rejected by the bouncer.  If you decide to head to the next club or bar you will risk paying cover or being rejected by the bouncer there also.

If you work 9-5, and especially if you are new to LA, choosing where to go out in Hollywood is much bigger stakes.  If you have only 2 nights you normally go out there are so many options you want to choose carefully what nightclub and what night.

LA night clubs are spread out from areas like downtown LA to the infamous Venice beach. 

However most nightclubs are all clustered in Hollywood within 1 zipcode-90028. A second to that is the Sunset Strip on Sunset Boulevard.  The difference between the heavily condensed club areas in 90028 area and amazing clubs just a few miles away such as in Downtown LA is simply the fact that because the most clubs are there that is where you will find the hottest spots too.

It’s just reputation and also habits of clubgoers. Asking a Hollywood clubgoer to go to Beverly Hills for a night rather than Hollywood is like leading the horse away from water.  You'll most likely lose the horse so to speak.

One bartender gets picked out of 3,000 applicants on average. The door (or ‘ropes’) is representative of Hollywood itself. The hottest clubs attract the celebs and hottest people, and to get into any hot or new club you cannot just show up unknowing and expect anything but to be left outside. The scene for single guys especially is a challenge. You have to know a promoter well or drop at least several hundred dollars on bottle service in the hottest nightclubs. With everyone trying to be friendly with the hot promoters in town and the door guys this isn’t easy. And even with a great job dropping over a thousand on a night out isn’t necessarily easy either. Anybody can be rejected at any given time depending on who is working the door.
